Crumlin Main Street, County Antrim was closed off Saturday 2nd December due to gas leak. Traffic was diverted through Canning Grove and Cidercourt Road whilst NIFRS attended the scene. Main Street has since reopened. ~Jim McCann Photography County Antrim 21st November 2023
On Tuesday night 21st November fire crews from Larne and Ballyclare were turned out to a fire in the control room of an aerial crane, 70 feet from ground level. An aerial appliance from Springfield station also attended the scene. ~NIFRS North FB
County Derry / Londonderry 15th November 2023

Two people were rescued from a vehicle in the water at a north coast beach on Wednesday 15th November. HM Coastguard said it was tasked to Downhill Beach following reports of a vehicle in the water on Wednesday afternoon. The alert was raised at around 3.40pm and Coleraine and Ballycastle Coastguard Rescue Teams were sent to the scene. Two fire appliances from Coleraine Fire Station, a Water Rescue Team from Crescent Link and a Specialist Rescue Team were also in attendance Firefighters attended a “water rescue of two people from a vehicle in approximately two feet of water” at the Benone end of the beach. A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Both casualties were checked over by NIAS and with no injuries. ~Belfast Telegraph County Cavan 13th November 2023

County Cavan 28th October 2023
At 18:45 Saturday 28th of October, (Belturbet) CN18 A1 & A2 where tasked to assist CN17 A1 & A2 (Ballyconnell) to a domestic house fire in the village of Swanlibar. During the course of the incident, three BA teams, 2 high pressure hose rolls, 1 emergency length of 45ml delivery hose, 1 attack 45ml hose & a 70ml delivery line from hydrant to main appliance where in use. ~Belturbet Fire Station CN18 Ireland FB.
County Down 29th October 2023
On Sunday 29th October NIFRS received reports of a fire involving commercial units at Oughley Road, Saintfield, County Down. Over 70 personnel, ten appliances and a number of specialist appliances attended the scene. ~NIFRS

Scene of a fire on Lower Clarendon Street, Derry / Londonderry on Monday 16th October
A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue (NIFRS) spokesperson said: “A large fire at a residential and commercial property in Lower Clarendon Street, Northland in Derry/Londonderry has now been dealt with. The initial call was received at 11.58am today (Monday 16 October 2023). “Firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus, used water jets to extinguish the fire. “At the height of the incident over 60 Firefighters were involved in the operation from Crescent Link, Northland, Strabane, Limavady, Maghera, Magherafelt, Dungiven, Omagh and Newtownstewart Fire Stations. “Firefighters rescued two people from the 5th floor of the building and 1 person was left in the care of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. “Our Firefighters worked tirelessly throughout the duration of the incident to ensure that the fire was brought under control. “We would like to thank the public for their patience whilst we dealt with the incident. “The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental ignition and the incident was dealt with by 4.12pm.” ~@NIFRSOfficial X Belfast 13th October 2023

On the evening of Saturday 19th August, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service and Police attended a number of properties in Goban Street, Portadown. This was following the report of an ongoing fire. There was no reports of anyone injured in the fire. ~Police Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon FB

County Antrim 14th June 2023
From 2pm 14 June until 2pm on 16 June, NIFRS received 716 emergency calls and attended 318 incidents, with 96 of these being wildfire incidents. Over 500 Fire Appliances including Specialist Appliances were mobilised to deal with these incidents.
The largest of these incidents was the wildfire at Ballyemon Road, Glenariff, Co Antrim which NIFRS was first called to at 1.56pm on Wednesday 14 June. This was later declared a major incident. ~NIFRS.Org County Armagh 10th June 2023
NIFRS are seen in attendance at a fire in a shed at 44 Lisraw Road, Poyntzpass, County Armagh on Saturday 11th June. Fire Appliances from Portadown, Armagh, Banbridge, Newry, Rathfriland and Lurgan, along with specialist appliances from Knock, Pomeroy, Warrenpoint and Lisburn attended the incident. ~@NIFRSOfficial Twitter
