Emergency Stickers
Emergency Stickers was set up in order to be able to provide members of front line services with identification stickers for their vehicles. These modern, up to date stickers allow the front line service personnel to be recognised for not only the work they do, but also so that public can see that if a member is on call around their area.
If people can recognise the symbol to the left, or a fire engine, or a picture of an ambulance, they understand that
1. you could provide medical assistance if needed and
2. that you give up your time to serve your greater communities to the best of your abilities.

Blues and Twos Irish Fire Vehicles

Rescue Organisation Ireland
Rescue Organisation Ireland (ROI) is a voluntary organisation and a registered charity. CHY 19166 It was founded by members of the Irish Fire & Emergency Services as a means of improving, updating & standardising the training of Emergency Service personnel (in particular Fire Service) who regularly respond and deal with Road Traffic Collisions (RTCs) on Irelands roads. It was a response to the consistently high level of incidents on our roads and how we as professionals in the Emergency Services can strive to improve & train to be better at what we do.
It is only by the drive and commitment of its members that we have developed to the point that today ROI is the leading authority on Crash Rescue techniques & RTC training in Ireland and a Level 1 member of the World Rescue Organisation (WRO – www.wrescue.org).
The Committee of ROI comprises members from across the island and covers various roles and organisations within the Irish Emergency Services. Together we are working hard to bring the focus of casualty centred training & rescue to operational emergency responding personnel throughout Ireland. Every year ROI holds a National Challenge event which is focused on RTC Extrication and Trauma scenarios.
Regular Skills Development Days are also held. These events are hosted in different locations around Ireland, in conjunction with the particular Fire Authority as a means of promoting casualty centred training and the 'Challenge concept' in all corners of Ireland. Early on Wednesday 5th April fire crews from Limerick City, Cappamore and Shannon fought a well developed fire in a roof, in two semi detached properties on the North side of Limerick City. Given the limited access around the properties to use an Aerial appliance, crews fought the fire from several Fire Service ladders. ~Limerick Fire & Rescue Service FB
In the early hours of Wednesday 5th April NIFRSdealt with a derelict building fire in the Grandsa grounds. 4 pumps, 1 Turntable Ladder, Command Support Unit, a Water Carrier and several officers attended the scene. ~@NiResponsevids Twiter
All services working together to deal with a RTC in County Waterford on Monday 3rd April. Thankfully no serious injuries reported. National Ambulance Service Aeromed 1 is on the ground behind the tree line. The road was closed off on both sides for safety. ~@NAS_Waterford Twitter
